You can control Tello directly via Tello app or with a supported Bluetooth remote controller connected to the Tello app.

The Tello app offers a number of tricks such as Bounce, Flip, as well as pre-programmed video functions that can help to capture cinematic video sequences.

Did you know that you can programme your Tello the way you want? Check out the video below; it shows a programmer that used Python code to set up Active Tracking on the drone. Please note, the drone does not come with Active Tracking.

The Ryze Tello does not have full obstacle avoidance, but it has sensors to help it land. The sensors on the Tello keep it extremely stable when flying in all directions.
